quiche is well loved in our house-----and it's something a little different and pretty good for you too
I like to serve it for luncheons or brunches with the family but sometimes we have it for dinner---
if I am in a hurry--I will use egg beaters---I can tell no difference---but I can hear you---some of you can tell it and hate them----but remember I am all about easy peasy---
I most of the time will make two for us---one could have tomato and parmesan cheese and the other maybe spinach and bacon----that's the beauty of quiche---you can add so many options and it still turns out great----
once again a salad goes perfect with quiche and I think a bright bowl of fruit adds a special touch---
so go ahead and try quiche again----bet ya can't eat just one piece!
I made some sort of quiche is high school, but not again until I met my husband. He requested quiche Lorraine so I make that now and again. One time I made a morel quiche and a taco quiche. I liked the moreal one but not the taco one so much.

DeleteI've made quiche for years, Lynn, and hubs loves it. It's usually Quiche Lorraine with the bacon and extra cheese. I use regular eggs, and light cream (half and half) but milk works just as well, with result a little less fluffy. BUT, I don't use the crust, I make Impossible Quiche most of the time so we don't get the extra fat from the crust. Using bisquick make a light crust with the cheese. I also make spinach, and sausage and shrimp quiche. All good. I love the fact that it reheats well if there are any leftovers. I will use crust for special occasions, but I don't miss it with the light version. Like your Q word!
